KrisEnergy Petroleum Engineer

We are seeking a petroleum engineer, who would like to join a small and highly motivated team of KrisEnergy Ltd, an upstream oil and gas company in Southeast Asia.

You should have a background in reservoir engineering with ten to 15 years of operating company experience. A thorough knowledge of fundamental petroleum engineering is required. Experience with production optimization, reservoir management, Nodal analysis, well test analysis, and some reservoir simulation is necessary.

Some experience with general well intervention and completion design and operations and ESP operations is beneficial. Solid presentation and communication skills are necessary. Candidates must work on their own initiative with minimal direction and be willing and able to travel offshore or to Singapore as required.

Candidates must be self-motivated, proactive, open minded and have strong coordination skills when working in a multi-functional team with a proven record.

Our portfolio in the Gulf of Thailand includes one operated producing field, one non-operated producing field and two operated new field developments – all but one of these fields is produced using ESPs.

Your duties will include:

• Daily monitoring of well and field performance and recommending action to optimise production
• Preparation of annual production and reserve reports for the DMF
• Interaction with the DMF as required to explain operating policy and new field development plans
• Frequent interaction and coordination with multi-discipline technical staff, including geotechnical, production and drilling, both in Bangkok and Singapore regarding both daily operations as well as exploration/development drilling activities
• Production forecasts for existing wells and future development wells
• All petroleum engineering aspects to support economic analysis and business decisions
• All petroleum engineering responsibilities associated with the planning and execution of new wells, both infill and new field development, including the preparation of new field development plans
• Preparation and delivery of TCM presentations
• Be a technical representative at meetings with operating partner(s) in non-operating field(s).
