เป็นข้อสอบข้อเขียนภาษาอังกฤษน่ะครับ
เรื่องของความสามารถทางภาษานี่ ผมเน้นย้ำมาตลอดว่า ต่อให้เราไม่ชอบ ไม่เห็นด้วย แต่มันเป็นความจำเป็นในการประกอบอาชีพในสายงานเรา
สายงานเราไม่ใช้การเกษตรพื้นถิ่นที่มีภูมิปัญญาบันทึกไว้เป็นภาษาไทย
ต้องยอมรับกันตรงๆว่า เรา “นำเข้า” ภูมิปัญญาด้านนี้จากต่างประเทศล้วนๆ โดยเฉพาะจากอเมริกา ที่เขาขุดหาน้ำมันกันมาเป็นร้อยๆปี จนมีสถาบันเป็นของตัวเองที่เรียกว่า API (American Petroleum Institute)
นอกจากนี้กูรูคนไทยทางด้านนี้ก็ไปศึกษาเล่าเรียนมาจากอเมริกาเป็นส่วนใหญ่ หรือ ไปฝึกอบรมที่ต่างประเทศ
แม้แต่กระเหรี่ยงที่ศึกษาจบจากประเทศไทยล้วนอย่างผมก็ต้องไปฝึกอบรมต่างประเทศเช่นกัน
อีกทั้ง ปัจจุบันเราก็ต้องทำงานกับบ.ต่างชาติในวงการฯ ที่มาเปิดสาขาในประเทศไทยมากมาย
ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสาร จึงเป็นความจำเป็นอย่างมาก ทั้งฟัง พูด อ่าน เขียน
